Cafe Patisse expands their confectionery offering
We are just in love with the delicious, not to mention almost to pretty eat confectionery created by local Pastry Chef Martin Ferreira (famed for his innovative “designer éclair”).
Martin and his team are making their first major foray into the retail market. While Martin has been whipping up his tasty offerings from a small factory shop from his Wynberg bakery the time has come to expand into a full retail operation and to use the opportunity realise his ambition to add bread to his product line. Ooooh – bread!
Of course we are talking the artisanal styles which include ….that will make this bakery stand out as a “Boulangerie” and distinguish it from the other pattisier in the Jozi space.
His new location is 92 Komatie Road Emmarentia, which is slightly bohemian and a little off the beaten track of the trendy “Park” suburbs just a few minutes away.
The breads will be made on site so expect the tangy yeasty aromas from early in the morning, while all the speciality pastries, desserts and cakes will be delivered on a daily basis from the bakery in Wynberg.
Martin and his speciality decorator Michelle Liebenberg are also becoming very popular for their bespoke celebration cakes. Whether they are themed children’s birthday cakes or trendy, funky wedding cakes, their cakes are always sure to be received with awe.
